My Gracie Girl

This is Gracie's end of the phone conversation with Sam this morning.

"Heeell-o_ Fa-ler"
"Thank you_ Fa-ler"
"Yes_ Fa-ler"
"k, love ya too, bye"

In case you couldn't guess "Fa-ler" is Father.
She makes me laugh everyday.
She also pushes me to the point of wanting to beat her everyday. That's just Gracie. She is most definitely her own little person with her own unique style. Last week for the school ice cream social she wore pink sweat shorts with mismatched socks pulled up past her knees and a shirt that didn't go with any of it. My mom was with us and I think she was embarrassed for anyone to know that they were related but I thought she looked great. That's just Gracie's style. Personally I think that I'm a super cool mom for allowing her to express her self. Or maybe with her being the forth child I'm just too tired to fight it. Nah. Let's go with the super cool mom.
She is going to be 5 this week and starting Kindergarten in the fall! I can't believe my baby girl is so big.
I remember when she was born the first thing that I noticed was her big squishy lips. She still has squishy lips and gives the best kisses. She was the easiest baby ever. A good sleeper. A good eater. Never cried, even if someone happened to be standing on her (Karen). She was a complete joy. Then she turned about 15 mo., but we are focusing on the positive, so I'll save those stories for another time.
She is a momma's girl and most of the time I love that. She is a great drawer, a great dancer, and great friend.
I love you Gracie Girl!

You are definitely a cool mom. But I have to say the more kids you have the more "chilled" you become. I wish I would of been that way with the first 2.
