Our first major snow storm of the winter

Only probablam is...it's Spring! I'm ready to start work on my garden and my yard. Word is we are getting 15 to 30 inches of snow! And being in Castle Rock we will probably be closer to 30 inch end of the range. I don't mind 1 or 2 major snow storms a year but why to they have to come in October and April. What would be wrong with fall acting like fall and winter acting like winter and spring acting like spring. That's Colorado for ya. Three days ago it was in the 60's and I was dressing kids in shorts. Today we were searching for snow boots. It's beautiful, but I'm hoping it doesn't last. Fingers crossed I can start work on my garden next week.

Let me tell ya...I DO NOT miss that rediculous weather!! :) I'm enjoying the most beautiful spring I've ever seen in my life. They just don't happen like this in CO. Hope it melts fast for ya and that this will be the last one! :)

I can't believe it was 93 today here and your kids were building a snowman. Next year you should plan a trip out here this time of year.

Natalie,
Your photography is wonderful. We were caught on the other side of the mountain trying to get back from a Zone Conference in Grand Junction. We ended up spending Friday night in Glenwood Springs and drove on in on Saturday. Lots of snow and ice. Who would believe looking outside today.
