Today was a good day. We woke up and the kinds hunted for eggs and treats, then had chocolate and cotton candy for breakfast before throwing on their church clothes and rushing out the door for 8:30 church. But before we left the house there was one more surprise...
... Oliver!!!! Our new green parakeet. Let me tell ya, he is a huge hit. I went to the
pet store last night to get him, hoping that the kids would be in bed before I got home so we could
surprise them with him in the morning. They were in bed, but it turns out that I was too excited to wait. I went and woke Nate and Bryce up for a
sneak preview. The looks on their faces was priceless. I think Sam got a video. Any way Ollie is a very sweet bird and we can't wait to teach him to talk and do tricks.
After Church we went to Sam's brothers house for Easter dinner with his family. It was a nice. Sam has a great family and the kids always have so much fun with their cousins. All together there are 20
grand kids so it gets a little wild but always fun.
