We had a super busy 4th of July weekend. Saturday we walked to the park then me and the big boys walked to subway and brought sandwiches back for everyone. Then Sam and I went shopping then we went to Civic Green park for a picnic with a bunch of Sam's family. It rained but the adults have a pavilion to sit under and the kids had a ball playing in the rain. Sunday we slept in the took a drive to the top of Mount Evans. I had never been there and it was really cool. Then Sunday night we did some of our own fireworks at home or maybe that was Saturday night, I can't remember. Monday we went to the ward pancake breakfast at the park and played for a while then we went to Cars 2 then to Chili's for lunch cuz kids ate for free on the 4th. Then my personal favorite part of the day, the nap! Then we went to the Air Force Academy for fun activities and an awesome Firework show. The traffic getting out of the air Force Academy was crazy and we didn't get home til almost midnight, but it was worth it.
Sorry for the play by play style post, I'm not very interesting today.
