a lovely day

i had a lovely day with my lovely husband. everyday as he comes to kiss me good bye and leave for work i say to him, "no, no going." but he must and so he does, but not today. today he stayed and we got the kids to school then we went bowling. we bowled 3 games of which i lost 3. then we went to a chinese restaurant near down town denver, because i like chinese food and apparently sam likes me. then on a whim we went on a tour of the molly brown house. ever since i was a little girl and saw the movie "the unsinkable molly brown" i've wanted to go to her house. it was cool and i want to live there. we had to be home to pick up mckay by 1:30 so alas the date had to come to an end, but the loveliness did not. we came home and i napped for 3 hours. lovely. then we went to abby's 3rd grade music program. she rocked by the way. and now i think i will enjoy some ice cream.
