My beautiful Abby girl was baptized on Saturday. She was smiling all morning. She had lots of family and friends there to show their love and support for her. Her daddy baptised her and confirmed her. Grandpa Rey spoke on baptism, Grandma Mary spoke on the Holy Ghost. Nate and Bryce gave the prayers, Edda Phillips played the piano and Aunt Karen led the music. It was a great day. Rarely do these things go off without a hitch though. The bishopric member, who was supposed to be at the baptism, completely forgot and went to the temple instead. We called the bishop, who was out helping the scouts with a fundraiser, and he hurried home and changed and came to the baptism. In the end everything worked out for the best because the councilor who was supposed to come felt so bad for forgetting that he brought us flowers and chocolate cake. It was a wonderful day.
