I love fall, and last weekend was amazing. Sunday afternoon we took advantage of what might be one of our last nice weekends before the snow hits. We went on one of our favorite family outings, and climbed Castle Rock. Abby made it all the way to the top for the first time. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. Sam and I were reminded just how out of shape we are but it was worth the effort.
Isn't he sweet. And I love the fall colors in the background.
Don't let the hand rail fool you. There are no londer stairs to the top. All of the kids had to climb the rocks to get there.
They have no fear.

i heart Fall! the leaves haven't started changing here yet...i am sure it will happen sometime mid october early november. silly california! we did have our first rain last week though...bummer!
