Max is the little fuzzy one in the middle front. He is also the newest member of the family. The kids have been begging for a dog forever, and we finally gave in. We went to my sister-in-law's parents house in Manassa for lunch on Friday (The food was amazing, Thank you Kelli) and after lunch they brought out there four new puppies (again, Thank you). For the kids it was love at first sight. Sam's sister Karen and her two kids were there also. With seven begging children we never really had a chance. So after all of the kids signed a contract promising to be responsible and take care of their dog we agreed that they could have one. So on Saturday we headed back to Manassa and Ryan and Katelyn picked out a puppy which they named "Rocky" and we picked out our "Max". Unfortunately I didn't mention "sleeping on the floor next to the dog all night because he won't stop crying" in the contract. So I ended up with that job. But I don't mind too much because through all of this our family has witnessed a miracle. Sam, a sworn animal hater, got up this morning and put Max outside to eat and pee. He also took care of Max while I took the kids to the carnival yesterday. Now I know he only did it to get out of going to the carnival again, but he did it. That's a big step for him. Don't tell him I said so but I think deep down he's just a big softy.

I can't believe you gave in!! Oh no...I know we're next, but it will have to be a miracle, and that contract will be about 30 pages long with an attorney present! Actually, Max looks like a real cutie. I think that Sam understands dog-speak so really, I think they'll end up best of friends (hee hee). Well, congrats, and I'm loving your blog...you go you crazy blog-queen!
Natlie how are you??? I just found Trent's blog and asked if you had one. this whole blogging thing is a crazy way to see what everyone is doing. Your family is so cute!!! I'm totally jealous that you were in Colorado for the 24th. We are crazy busy right now but are planning on next year. I'd love to hear from you and take care.
